3rd graders from Mr. Mattson's class spent a semester studying North American Animals that are endangered.
They used Susan Middleton's book "Witness"
as a research guide, with each student in charge of researching a specific animal.





During the Fall semester of 2009-2010
3rd graders from
Mr. Mattson's class created this mosaic mural at their school.

Dimensions: wall #1: 5' high x 50' wide
wall #2: 4' high x 70'wide
Medium: Mosaic tile, ceramics, mirror, stained glass and colored grout.
