Grattan Elementary School Mural





Over the course of the school year of 2008 - 2009
80 3rd and 2nd graders from
Grattan Elementary School
created two large-scale mosaic murals about thier community garden.

A class of 2nd graders and 3rd graders spent the Spring semester of 2009 studying arachnids and arthropods and built their mural on the side of their school.

Located at 165 Grattan Street (along Shrader Streets) in San Francisco's Cole Valley District.
Dimensions: 28' high x 36' wide
Medium: Mosaic tile, ceramics, stained glass and colored grout.
